Walkathon and COLS on 1st May Maharashtra Day at Dhantoli Garden, Nagpur
On the occasion of 1st May “Maharashtra Diwas “ISA NCB has organised “Walkathon” followed by COLS (Compression Only life support) activity for the residents of Nagpur
COLS training was done at Major Surendra Deo Park (Dhantoli Garden) at 7 am .
This year is the Platinum Jubilee of ISA National and the Maharashtra State ISA has given a call to all the branches of Maharashtra to hold such awareness program on 1st May 2022
Today all over Maharashtra 32 cities are performing COLS .
Chief Guest of today’s program was
Dr. Lakshmi Shrikhande renowned Gynecologist and the AMWN president ,Nagpur.
Guest of Honor was Dr. Anjali Bhure Madam, Vice president National and the advisory board member MSCISA.
At the Outset President Dr. Kiran Vyawahare welcomed the Chief Guest, Guest of Honor and the Mr. Ganesh Dixit, who is the president of Gaurav Garden club and G. N. Dixit foundation Dhantoli with floral Bouquet. She welcomed all the members who are enthusiastically came to learn the COLS and express the concept of “Our two hand can save one life.”
Dr. Lakshmi Shrikhande madam in her speech appreciated the ISANCB for conducting of such activity and carrying our awareness program all over the Nagpur. She appealed to the public to take maximum advantage of this and can be a part of the movement of ISANCB of “You can save one life”
Dr. Anjali Bhure madam briefed the the importance of awareness program conducted by ISANCB.
Before the actual training of COLS to public, a small Skit was done by team of executive members Dr.Sachin Makade treasurer, and Dr.Dilip wasnik, joint secretary and Dr. Anjali Borkar, Dr. Heena Pahuja, Dr. Sonali khobragade.
Dr. Ravi Mundhada ISANCB Member has also participated in the skit .
Senior members Dr. S.K. Deshpande sir, Dr. Pratibha Deshmukh madam, Dr. Ujjwala Mohta madam, Dr. Sucheta Tidke madam, HOD of MGM Sewagram Medical College also joined the program.
Dr. Sheetal Dalal GC member MSCISA, Dr. Rashmi Shingade President elect, and immediate past Secretary Dr. Deepak Madankar also joined the program.
Dr. Gauri Arora Special executive member of ISA NCB and the program head worked very hard for the program.
Enthusiastic public was having lot of queries regarding how they can do COLS, and every member of ISANCB took part in solving their doubts..
Program was attended by around 100 people and was a huge success. It was covered by UCN news and Face book live by RJ Raj.
