Exploring Obstetrics Anaesthesia: Challenges and Solutions – A Comprehensive CME Event
ISA Nagpur City Branch, in collaboration with Omega Hospital and Om Charitable Trust Nagpur, orchestrated an enlightening day-long Continuing Medical Education (CME) session on “Obstetrics Anaesthesia Challenges and Solutions.” Held on Sunday, the 28th of January 2024, at Hotel Centre Point, Nagpur, the event drew professionals keen on advancing their knowledge in this critical field.
The CME commenced with a warm welcome by Dr. Gauri Arora, President of ISA NCB, and Dr. Manisha Shembekar, Managing Director of Omega Hospital and Executive Member of AOA India. The prestigious Dr. N.T. Balankhe Memorial Outgoing President’s Oration, eloquently delivered by outgoing President Dr. Rashmi Shingade on the topic “Evolution of Paediatric Anaesthesia,” set the tone for the day’s proceedings, with senior anaesthesiologists Dr. Bhau Rajurkar and Dr. Hemant Rahatekar chairing the session.
Distinguished speakers such as Dr. Manokanth Madapu from Fernandez Hospital, Hyderabad, and Dr. Anjeelena Kumar Gupta from Ganga Ram Hospital, Delhi, shared their insights on various topics, enriching participants with practical knowledge and clinical applications. Other notable speakers, including Dr. Pradeep Arora, Dr. Chaitanya Shembekar, Dr. Umesh Ramtani, and Dr. Hemangi Abhayankar, addressed pertinent issues and challenges in obstetrics anaesthesia.
