BCLS Activity at Khemka X-ray and Ultrasound Clinic

The Indian Society of Anaesthesiologists, Nagpur City Branch (ISA NCB), conducted a vital Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Activity at the Khemka X-ray and Ultrasound Clinic in Dhantoli, Nagpur, on February 16th, 2024. The session was aimed at enhancing the emergency response skills of healthcare professionals.

The roles and responsibilities of anaesthesiologists in emergency care were thoroughly discussed by Dr. Dilip Wasnik, Honorary Secretary of ISA NCB. He also elucidated the critical steps and significance of BCLS, followed by a practical demonstration. The staff of the Radiology Clinic received hands-on training, equipping them with the knowledge and skills to effectively perform life-saving procedures.

In a gesture that underscores the commitment to ongoing medical education, a BCLS instructional chart was presented to Dr. Mrs. Khemka. The training session saw the enthusiastic participation of about fifteen hospital staff members, reflecting the clinic’s dedication to fostering a culture of preparedness and patient safety.
