ISA NCB Hosts COLS Activity at Baba Nanak Sindhi Hindi High School and Junior College

On the 18th of January 2024, ISA NCB organized a crucial activity on Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (COLS) at Baba Nanak Sindhi Hindi High School and Junior College, located in Garoba Maidan, Nagpur.

Dr. Gauri Arora, President of ISA NCB, elucidated the roles of an anaesthesiologist, shedding light on their vital contributions to healthcare. Following this, Dr. Dilip Wasnik, Honorary Secretary of ISA NCB, delivered an informative lecture on COLS, enriching the audience with essential knowledge and insights. The hands-on training session was skillfully conducted by Dr. Neha Gulkari and other executive members of ISA NCB.

The event attracted a significant turnout, with approximately 500 high school students in attendance, accompanied by their teachers. As a token of appreciation, the COLS chart was graciously donated to the school’s principal. The students actively engaged in the training, displaying enthusiasm and eagerness to learn.

The initiative received accolades from the school management, underscoring its importance in imparting life-saving skills to the younger generation. ISA NCB remains committed to fostering awareness and education on critical healthcare practices within the community.
