ISA Nagpur City Branch Celebrates “Feria Fantastica” on Foundation Day
On the 21st of January 2024, ISA Nagpur City Branch came alive with vibrant festivities as it celebrated its Foundation Day at the IMA Hall in Nagpur. The program commenced with a ceremonial inauguration led by Dr. Mankeshwar, a distinguished founder member of ISA NCB, who marked the occasion with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. The traditional lamp was lit by esteemed past presidents and secretaries, adding a touch of reverence to the proceedings.
The ISA NCB Foundation Day extravaganza, affectionately named Feria Fantastica, was a delightful blend of activities catering to all ages. Children showcased their artistic talents in a drawing competition, while participants displayed their creativity in a Rangoli Competition and a Salad Competition. Additionally, a flower decoration competition provided an opportunity for members to exhibit their floral artistry. Prizes were awarded to the winners of these competitions, adding to the excitement of the event.
The spirit of Makar Sankranti permeated the celebrations as attendees indulged in traditional festivities, including the exchange of Til gud and haldi kunkum, along with the exhilarating tradition of kite flying. Games and activities were organized for both children and adults, ensuring there was something for everyone to enjoy.
The melodious strains of songs filled the air as ISA NCB members and their families showcased their musical talents at the Karaoke music point, adding to the festive ambiance. The event saw a significant turnout of senior ISA members, underscoring the camaraderie and solidarity within the organization.
The success of Feria Fantastica would not have been possible without the dedicated efforts of Dr. Ketaki Ramteke, Dr. Vrishali Ankalwar, Dr. Tapasya Dhawane, Dr. Shweta Bulle, and the entire organizing team, who worked tirelessly to ensure a memorable celebration for all.
