CME on Mental Wellness for Medicos – Mission M2

ISA–Nagpur City Branch, in association with the Department of Anaesthesiology, Government Medical College, Nagpur, organised a CME under Mission M2 – Mental Well Being for Medicos on 19th September 2025, focusing on mental health challenges among medical students.

Indian Society of Anaesthesiologists – Nagpur City Branch, in association with the
Government Medical College Nagpur (Department of Anaesthesiology), organised a Continuing Medical Education (CME) program under the aegis of “Mission M2 – Mental Well Being for Medicos”.

Guidance & Leadership

The activity was guided and mentored by:

  • Dr. Umesh Ramtani – President, ISA–NCB

Dr. Megha Tajne delivered the welcome address, setting the tone for the session.

He delivered an inspiring talk on:

“Mental Wellness for Medicos: Challenges to Conquer”

The lecture was mesmerising, informative, inspiring, and thought-provoking, addressing burnout, psychological stress, and emotional resilience among medical professionals.

Participation & Interaction

  • Nearly 50 senior residents and postgraduate students
  • Representation from clinical and para-clinical departments
  • Followed by an engaging interactive Q&A session
  • Active participation from both students and faculty

Mission M2 Initiative

This was the third activity conducted under Mission M2 for UG and PG students across medical colleges in the city.

The initiative addresses the growing prevalence of:

  • Burnouts
  • Psychological disorders
  • Increasing suicidal tendencies among medicos

Through Mission M2, ISA–Nagpur City Branch continues its commitment toward promoting mental resilience and well-being among future healthcare professionals.
