As part of its ongoing training and outreach initiatives, the Indian Society of Anaesthesiologists – Nagpur City Branch (ISA–NCB) organized a Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) training activity at Mukherjee Hospital, Nagpur.
The training session was conducted by Dr. Sachin Makade, Dr. Vrushali Panchalwar, and Dr. Amol Pailwar with the objective of enhancing emergency response skills among healthcare professionals.
A total of 15 nursing staff members and 2 doctors participated in the session. The program focused primarily on hands-on skill acquisition, enabling participants to practice cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), effective chest compression techniques, and the basic steps involved in managing cardiac arrest.
The trainers guided participants through practical demonstrations and supervised practice sessions, ensuring that each participant gained confidence in performing Basic Cardiac Life Support procedures during emergencies.
