Public Awareness Activity: COLS and First Aid Training at NOMADs Holidays and Travels

ISA-NCB conducted a COLS and First Aid awareness session at NOMADs Holidays and Travels office, training staff in basic emergency response and life-saving techniques.

As part of its ongoing public awareness and community outreach initiatives, the Indian Society of Anaesthesiologists – Nagpur City Branch (ISA-NCB) conducted a Compression-Only Life Support (COLS) and First Aid training session at the NOMADs Holidays and Travels office.

The session was conducted by Dr. Amol Pailwar, who provided guidance on basic emergency response techniques, first aid principles, and the importance of immediate action during medical emergencies.

Participants were educated about recognizing cardiac arrest, performing compression-only CPR, and providing initial first aid assistance until professional medical help arrives. Practical explanations and demonstrations helped the staff understand how to respond effectively in emergency situations.

This initiative aimed to empower workplace staff with essential life-saving knowledge, ensuring that individuals are better prepared to handle emergencies and assist others when needed.
