The Indian Society of Anaesthesiologists – Nagpur City Branch (ISA–NCB) organized a Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) training program on 29 December 2025 at Orivision Nursing Home.
The activity aimed to enhance the emergency response skills of healthcare workers, enabling them to identify and manage cardiac emergencies effectively until advanced medical care becomes available.
A total of 20 staff members participated in the training session, where they were introduced to the fundamental principles of cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), including early recognition of cardiac arrest, proper chest compression techniques, and immediate response protocols.
The training was conducted by Dr. Sachin Makade and Dr. Amol Pailwar, who provided demonstrations and hands-on practice sessions to ensure that participants understood and practiced the correct techniques of BCLS.
This initiative helped improve emergency preparedness among healthcare staff, reflecting ISA–NCB’s continued commitment to spreading life-saving knowledge and strengthening CPR awareness across healthcare institutions.
