The Indian Society of Anaesthesiologists – Nagpur City Branch (ISA–NCB) organized a Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) training activity on 24 December 2025 at Bhede Dental Clinic.
The program aimed to train healthcare professionals in recognizing and responding to cardiac emergencies, especially in clinical settings where immediate life-saving action may be required before advanced medical support arrives.
The training session was attended by clinic staff and doctors, who were educated about the basic principles of cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), early recognition of cardiac arrest, and the importance of timely chest compressions.
The session was conducted by Dr. Sachin Makade and Dr. Leena Gedam, who provided demonstrations and practical guidance on performing BCLS techniques, ensuring that participants understood the correct procedures for emergency response.
The activity helped strengthen emergency preparedness among dental healthcare professionals, supporting ISA–NCB’s ongoing mission to spread life-saving knowledge and CPR awareness across different healthcare sectors.
