BLS Training Activity at Rahate Surgical Hospital

ISA-NCB President Dr. Sachin Makade conducted a BLS training session at Rahate Surgical Hospital, providing paramedical staff with hands-on CPR and chest compression practice.

As part of the Anaesthesia Week and public awareness initiatives, Dr. Sachin Makade, President of the Indian Society of Anaesthesiologists – Nagpur City Branch (ISA-NCB), conducted a Basic Life Support (BLS) training activity on 16 October 2025 at Rahate Surgical Hospital.

The session was organized to enhance emergency response skills among healthcare staff and promote awareness about life-saving techniques during cardiac emergencies.

Approximately 30 paramedical staff members participated in the activity. The training included demonstrations and hands-on practice using mannequins, allowing participants to learn the correct technique of chest compressions and CPR procedures.

Through practical training and interactive guidance, participants gained a better understanding of how to respond quickly and effectively during cardiac arrest situations until advanced medical help arrives.

This initiative reflects ISA-NCB’s continued commitment to strengthening emergency preparedness among healthcare workers and promoting life-saving skills within medical institutions.
