BCLS Training at Oke Eye Hospital, Nagpur

ISA–Nagpur City Branch conducted a BCLS training workshop at Oke Eye Hospital, Nagpur, empowering medical officers and nursing staff with essential skills to manage acute cardiopulmonary emergencies.

On 22nd June 2025, Indian Society of Anaesthesiologists – Nagpur City Branch (ISA–NCB) conducted a Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Demonstration and Hands-on Training Program at Oke Eye Hospital.

The initiative aimed at strengthening emergency preparedness among healthcare professionals by equipping them with the knowledge and practical skills required to manage acute cardiopulmonary emergencies effectively.

Dr. Jain provided a structured demonstration of BCLS protocols followed by supervised hands-on training.

Participation and Learning Outcomes

  • Around 15 medical officers and nursing staff participated
  • Demonstration of cardiac arrest recognition and CPR techniques
  • Practical hands-on session using mannequins
  • Interactive discussion and doubt clarification

Participants actively engaged in the session and raised several queries, all of which were addressed satisfactorily. The program was highly appreciated by the attendees.
