ISA–NCB Academic Quiz 2025 Showcases Knowledge, Innovation, and Competitive Excellence

ISA Nagpur City Branch successfully conducted an innovative academic quiz attended by over 100 members and postgraduate students, featuring six engaging rounds, with GMC Nagpur emerging as winners and AIIMS Nagpur as runners-up.

Grand Inauguration Ceremony

The academic quiz event commenced with the traditional inaugural lamp lighting ceremony, symbolising knowledge and enlightenment.

The ceremony was conducted in the august presence of:

Dr Umesh Ramtani, President ISA–NCB, delivered the welcome address, highlighting the importance of academic engagement, innovation, and healthy competition within the anaesthesia fraternity.

Following the felicitation of the judges, the formal proceedings continued with:

  • Vote of Thanks proposed by Dr Anjali Modak, acknowledging the efforts of organisers, participants, and dignitaries.

The quiz featured six creatively designed rounds that tested clinical knowledge, analytical thinking, and rapid decision-making skills.

1. Catch Me If You Can

A fast-paced round designed to assess alertness and quick recall.

2. Jack Pot Round – Unmasking

A challenging round requiring participants to identify concealed clues.

3. EYE Q Round – Visual Round

Focused on image-based questions demanding sharp observational skills.

4. Cryptic Clue – Mind Maze Round

A thought-provoking segment involving cryptic hints and logical reasoning.

5. Avengers Round – Superspeciality Round

Questions centred on superspeciality knowledge within anaesthesia and allied fields.

6. Rapid Fire Round – Fast n Furious

A high-intensity round testing speed, precision, and depth of understanding.

All rounds were widely appreciated for being innovative, intellectually stimulating, and engaging.

Participation and Academic Engagement

The quiz witnessed enthusiastic participation from:

  • Postgraduate students

With approximately 100 attendees, the event reflected strong academic interest and active involvement within the anaesthesia community.
