ISA-NCB Conducts COLS Training at St. Xavier’s School, Hingna
The Indian Society of Anaesthesiologists, Nagpur City Branch (ISA-NCB) successfully conducted a Compression-Only Life Support (COLS) training session at St. Xavier’s School, Hingna, on 14th February 2025, from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM.






Empowering Young Minds with Life-Saving Skills
The session aimed to equip students and school staff with essential CPR techniques that can be used in medical emergencies. The training included:
✅ PowerPoint Presentation & Demonstration – Delivered by:
🔹 Dr. Ravi Mundhada, Senior Anaesthesiologist & ISA Member
🔹 Dr. Roshani Manwani, Associate Professor, DMMC & Executive Member, ISA-NCB
✅ Hands-on CPR Practice – Students were trained on mannequins to ensure practical understanding of COLS.
✅ Interactive Q&A Session – Students enthusiastically asked questions, which were answered in detail by the experts.
Impact & Acknowledgment
👨🎓 320 students from Class 7 and 8, along with teaching & non-teaching staff, actively participated in the session.
🤝 The activity was coordinated by the Rotaract Club and Dr. Ravi Mundhada.
🏆 The training received appreciation from students, staff, and the school principal, Mrs. Ashlesha Parkhi, for its informative and engaging approach.
