COLS at Traffic park

The Nagpur City Branch of the Indian Society of Anaesthesiology organized a Walkathon on 15th October 2023 as part of the World Anaesthesia Day Celebration at the IMA Hall on North Ambazari Road. As a component of this celebration, the Public Awareness Compression Only Life Support (COLS) activity took place at the Traffic Park.

At the Traffic Park, participants were educated on how an ordinary person can save a life. Hands-on training was provided to the attendees, receiving positive feedback from all citizens present. Dr. Gauri Arora, President of ISA NCB, extended a warm welcome to the citizens and emphasized the significance of COLS.

During the event, Dr. Dilip Wasnik, Honorary Secretary of ISA NCB, elucidated the technique for assessing a victim, activating the emergency system, and initiating chest compressions. Dr. Tapasya Dhawane, Dr. Neha Gulkari, and other executive members collaborated to coordinate the entire event.
