ISA-NCB Launches Online PG Class: APT Series

The Indian Society of Anesthesiologists – Nagpur City Branch (ISA-NCB) proudly launched its Online Postgraduate Classes – APT (Academic Practical Training) Series, aimed at enhancing the knowledge and practical skills of postgraduate students. The inaugural session, held on 22nd January 2025, focused on the Anaesthetic Management of ANC with Mitral Stenosis: Case Discussion. The event took place on the Zoom platform from 8:00 PM to 9:30 PM, bringing together 80 participants eager to learn.


A Distinguished Start

The first session was graced by two esteemed moderators:

  • Dr. Shakuntala Basantwani: Additional Professor, LTMMC & LTMGH, Sion.
  • Dr. Ramesh Sugandh: Associate Professor, GMC Gondia.

The session began with a warm Welcome Address by Dr. Umesh Ramtani, President of ISA-NCB, who introduced the moderators and set the tone for an engaging academic discussion.

The spotlight of the session was the case presentation by:

  • Dr. Himani Shrivastava: 3rd Year MD Resident, GMC Nagpur.
  • Dr. Harshali Wankhede: 3rd Year MD Resident, GMC Nagpur.

Their detailed discussion on managing a high-risk pregnancy with mitral stenosis captivated the audience. The moderators provided expert guidance, clarified complex concepts, and addressed questions posed in the chat box.
