Debate – 24/06/2012
Indian Society of Anaesthesiologist, Nagpur City Branch organised a “DEBATE-2012” on 24th June 2012 at Hotel Legend Inn. The participants were Dr. Vidula Kapre, Dr. Anjali Bhure, Dr. Vaishali Shelgaonkar, Dr. Archana Deshpande, Dr. Vikram Alsi, Dr. Umesh Ramtani, Dr. Pallavi Karia & Dr. Manas Manohar.
The topics were (1) Regional Anaesthesia for Laprascopic surgery, (2) Suxamethonium: Still a drug of chioce for Intubation, (3) Preoperative Optimization of Blood Pressure for Surgery & (4) Spinal Anaesthesia in Eclampsia. The Judges were senior anaesthesiologists Dr.Naresh Tirpude & Dr.Shubhangi Muley. It was a very big fight.
Dr. Archana Deshpande bagged 1st prize & Dr. Anjali Bhure was runner up. The programme was attended by large number of anaesthesiologists of Nagpur city. The moderater was Dr.Sandeep Meshram. Everybody encouraged & appreciated the debaters and it was a great success. President Dr.C.S. Cham & all executive members worked hard to make the event successful.
