PRACTICAL ORIENTED TEACHING COURSE, 2019
Indian Society of Anaesthesiologists, Nagpur city branch & Dept. of Anaesthesiology, IGGMC Nagpur conducted Practical Oriented teaching course for exam going PG students of Anaesthesiology on 1st, 2nd ,3rd March 2019 at New surgical complex, IGGMC.
The event is customarily conducted every year in three medical colleges by rotation in which various teachers, senior faculties of ISA NCB and examiners of PG university exam deliver scientific lectures on various viva related practical topics.
This year, total 42 students from GMC, IGGMC, NKPSIMS – Nagpur, MGIMS – SEWAGRAM, JNMC – SAWANGI, DNB students from Dinanath Mangeshkar Hospital, Pune and Batra hospital, Delhi got registered for the program. The three day academic session was interactive, informative and interesting.

The certificates of appreciation were given to all faculties . The event was well appreciated by students who were given feedback forms which were filled by them without revealing their identity. The program started with formal inauguration ceremony in which President, ISA NCB Dr. Sunita Lawange welcomed all and expressed the need of such activity for exam going students. She also released a short video on CPCR in which act was performed by ISA NCB members. The course coordinator, Dr. V. C. Shelgaonkar , Prof. & Head, Anaesthesiology, IGGMC mentioned that this course will be of great help to students for preparing for practical exams and advised them to be attentive and interactive to take maximum benefit of activity. The ceremony was attended by Dr. Shital Dalal , Past president, ISA NCB and Dr. Manisha Shembekar, incoming president, ISA NCB 2019-20. Dr. Umesh Ramtani, Hon. Secretary, ISA NCB expressed heartfelt gratitude to Dr. S. P. Manjrekar, Medical Superintendent and Prof., Head Anaesthesiology, IGGMC and Dr. Shelgaonkar for all their support and guidance and proposed formal vote of thanks.
