In a fantastic morning initiative on December 8, 2024, ISA Nagpur, in association with the Rotaract Club of VSPM Physio, conducted a vital COLS demonstration at the Japanese Garden. The session, attended by over 75 morning walkers, Nagpur Ploggers, and members of the Global Shapers NGO, was also graced by NMC Additional Commissioner, Mrs. Anchal Goyal.
ISA Nagpur City Branch continues to take its public awareness mission to every corner of the city. On the morning of Sunday, December 8, 2024, our team held a Compression-Only Life Support (COLS) demonstration and hands-on training session at the popular Japanese Garden.
This community initiative was conducted in association with the Rotaract Club of VSPM Physio. The target audience was the diverse group of citizens who frequent the garden—including the Nagpur Ploggers Association, the Global Shapers (NGO), and numerous regular morning walkers.
The demonstration was expertly led by ISA-NCB’s Dr. Ravi Mundada and Joint Secretary Dr. Vrushali Ankalwar. They explained the simple, effective steps of COLS that any bystander can perform to save a life during a sudden cardiac arrest. Around 75 enthusiastic members of the public and the participating groups received hands-on training.
The session was highly interactive, with many questions from the alert participants, all of which were answered by our team.
We were honored by the presence of NMC Additional Commissioner, Mrs. Anchal Goyal, who attended the activity and appreciated the initiative.
The program was a great success and was highly praised by all attendees. At the conclusion of the session, Dr. Mundada and Dr. Ankalwar were felicitated for their valuable contribution.
