The Indian Society of Anaesthesiologists – Nagpur City Branch (ISA–NCB) conducted a Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) training activity at KRIMS Hospital, Nagpur as part of its ongoing healthcare training and public awareness initiatives.
The session was organized to enhance the emergency response capabilities of paramedical staff, focusing on the early recognition and management of cardiac arrest.
Approximately 100 paramedical staff members actively participated in the training program. The session included demonstrations of BCLS techniques, emphasizing the importance of timely intervention, effective chest compressions, and basic resuscitation protocols.
Participants were also engaged in hands-on training using mannequins, allowing them to practice cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and gain confidence in performing life-saving procedures under supervision.
