As part of its Public Awareness Activities, the Indian Society of Anaesthesiologists – Nagpur City Branch (ISA–NCB) organized a unique and impactful event titled “Sareethon” on 8 March 2026.
The initiative aimed to raise public awareness about the specialty of anaesthesiology and the crucial role played by anaesthesiologists in patient care. Participants enthusiastically took part in the event, carrying placards displaying informative slogans that highlighted the importance of safe anaesthesia practices and the contributions of anaesthesiologists in modern medicine.
The Sareethon served as a creative and engaging platform to connect with the public, helping to bridge the knowledge gap regarding anaesthesia and its significance in surgical procedures, critical care, pain management, and emergency medicine.
Through this initiative, ISA–NCB reinforced its commitment to educating the community, promoting awareness, and recognizing the vital role of anaesthesiologists in ensuring patient safety and quality healthcare.
The event successfully captured public attention and contributed to spreading awareness in an interactive and meaningful way, further strengthening ISA–NCB’s outreach efforts.
