CPR workshop at Central Railway Hospital, Nagpur
Indian society of anesthesiologists , Nagpur city branch (ISA NCB) conducted workshop and BLS (Jeevan-sanjivani) hands-on training under the public awareness program ‘You can save one life’, at Central railway hospital, Nagpur on 11th May 2017 which was attended by about 45 doctors and paramedical staff of the hospital.
The workshop was conducted by Dr. Sheetal Dalal, Dr. Gauri Arora, Dr. Umesh Ramtani and Dr. Dilip Wasnik.
An appeal was made to the railway authorities to make an Ambu bag available in each train and a CPCR mask available with the attendant of each bogie, for resuscitation in case of an emergency.
A CPR chart was also distributed to them and a proposal of putting up a similar chart at the railway station was given which was well appreciated by the CMS of central railway Dr. V. K. Assudani. Dr Shubhangi Saakhare and Dr. Vaishali Londekar took lot of efforts in organizing the workshop.
Dr. Sushma Dalal and Dr. Hedaoo from railway hospital were also present during the workshop.
