ISA–NCB conducted a COLS training session for Rotary Club members in Nagpur, providing practical demonstrations and awareness about life-saving emergency response techniques.

COLS Training for Rotary Club Members, Nagpur

As part of its Public Awareness and Social Outreach initiatives, the Indian Society of Anaesthesiologists – Nagpur City Branch (ISA–NCB) organized a Compression-Only Life Support (COLS) training session for Rotary Club members in Nagpur.

The session was led by Dr. Hemant Rahtekar, Past President of ISA–NCB, with the objective of spreading awareness about basic life-saving techniques among community leaders and social organizations.

During the training program, participants were provided with detailed explanations of the COLS protocol, including recognition of cardiac arrest and the importance of immediate chest compressions in saving lives during emergencies.

The session also included practical demonstrations, enabling participants to understand and practice the correct method of performing chest compressions. A total of 20 Rotary Club members participated in the activity, actively engaging in the training and gaining valuable knowledge about emergency response.
