Media Awareness and Newspaper Coverage during WAD Celebration

ISA–NCB promoted anaesthesia awareness through educational videos and extensive newspaper coverage across the Vidarbha region during Ether Week and World Anaesthesia Day celebrations.

As part of public awareness initiatives during Ether Week and World Anaesthesia Day celebrations, Dr. Shweta Bulle recorded an educational video on Biomedical Waste (BMW) segregation for Green Operation Theatres (Green OT).

The video focuses on the importance of proper biomedical waste management in operating theatres, emphasizing how correct segregation of waste helps in reducing environmental impact, maintaining hospital hygiene, and ensuring patient and staff safety.

Through this awareness initiative, the video explains the principles of Green OT practices, encouraging healthcare professionals to adopt eco-friendly and responsible waste disposal methods in surgical settings.

This effort contributes to promoting sustainable healthcare practices and increasing awareness among medical professionals and the public regarding safe biomedical waste handling.
