As part of its public awareness and life-support training initiatives, the Indian Society of Anaesthesiologists – Nagpur City Branch (ISA-NCB) organized a Compression-Only Life Support (COLS) training session at Gramgeeta Mahavidyalaya, Chimur on 24 December 2025.
The training program was conducted by Dr. Shweta Bulle, who provided comprehensive guidance on life-saving emergency response techniques.
The session witnessed enthusiastic participation from 150 students and 30 staff members, making it a large and impactful awareness activity. Participants were trained to recognize signs of cardiac arrest and perform compression-only CPR, enabling them to respond quickly during emergency situations.
Through demonstrations and practical explanations, the session emphasized the importance of immediate chest compressions and early intervention, which can significantly improve survival chances during cardiac emergencies.
This initiative reflects ISA-NCB’s continued commitment to spreading awareness and equipping communities with essential life-saving skills through educational and training programs across educational institutions.
