As part of its community outreach and public awareness initiatives, the Indian Society of Anaesthesiologists – Nagpur City Branch (ISA-NCB) conducted a Compression-Only Life Support (COLS) workshop for members of the Adivasi Employee Federation on 21 December 2025.
The workshop was organized at the Bapurao Pandharipande Institute, bringing together more than 100 participants who were eager to learn essential life-saving skills.
The training session was led by Dr. Sachin Makade, with support from Dr. Pallavi Meshram, Dr. Arihant Jain, and Dr. Amol Pailwar. The team provided detailed explanations and hands-on demonstrations of compression-only CPR, helping participants understand how to respond effectively during cardiac emergencies.
Participants were educated about recognizing signs of cardiac arrest, performing chest compressions, and taking immediate action until medical help arrives.
This initiative reflects ISA-NCB’s commitment to empowering communities with practical emergency response skills, ensuring that more people are capable of providing timely assistance in life-threatening situations.
