ISA NCB, in collaboration with Omega Hospitals, Nagpur, organized a Continuing Medical Education (CME) program titled “Navigating Complexities in Obstetric Anaesthesia” on 11th January 2026 at Hotel Regenta Inn, Nagpur.
The CME brought together a distinguished panel of national and regional experts who shared their knowledge and clinical experience in obstetric anaesthesia.
The guest faculty included Dr. Indrani Hemantkumar (GC ISA National; Head of Department, Symbiosis Pune), Dr. Kshitija Mahajan (Assistant Professor, Sion Hospital, Mumbai), and Dr. Kiran Janwe (GC SAMS). Their insightful presentations provided valuable perspectives on current practices and challenges in obstetric anaesthesia.
The academic sessions covered several critical topics including difficult airway management, placenta accreta, postpartum hemorrhage (PPH), maternal sepsis, and postoperative analgesia, offering practical guidance for clinicians managing high-risk obstetric cases.
A significant highlight of the event was the Dr. N. T. Balankhe Memorial Outgoing President’s Oration, delivered by Immediate Past President Dr. Umesh Ramtani, which was highly appreciated by the attendees.
The event was successfully coordinated by Executive Members Dr. Pallavi Meshram and Dr. Sheetal Awhad, ensuring smooth organization and active participation throughout the program.
