ISA Nagpur organized a COLS training session at the SEARCH Surgical Camp in Gadchiroli, educating community members on life-saving compression-only CPR techniques and emergency response awareness.

The Indian Society of Anaesthesiologists (ISA), Nagpur City Branch (NCB) conducted a Compression-Only Life Support (COLS) training session at the SEARCH Surgical Camp in Gadchiroli on February 15, 2026.

This initiative was part of ISA Nagpur’s ongoing commitment to community outreach and public health education, aimed at spreading awareness about life-saving techniques that can be performed during sudden cardiac emergencies.


Community Participation

The training session reached approximately 50 participants, including:

  • Patient relatives
  • Bystanders present at the surgical camp
  • Members of the local community

Participants showed enthusiastic interest in learning how simple but effective chest compressions can help save lives in cases of sudden cardiac arrest before professional medical assistance arrives.
