Indian Society of Anaesthesiologists – Nagpur City Branch held Panel Discussion on Anaesthesia and Orthopedics on 26^th July 2013. The theme for the program was ‘Tips, Tricks & Strategies’ which can be employed during anaesthetic management of orthopedic surgical procedures. Senior practicing anaesthesiologists Dr Ashutosh Chaoji, Dr C.S. Cham and Dr Manisha Kate along with senior orthopedic surgeon Dr Ashutosh Apte shared their views and experiences as panelists. Dr Neeta Apte and Dr Sachin Sadawarte moderated the interactive and informative discussion. The discussion involved applying basic to advanced anaesthetic management skills for safety of patients undergoing orthopedic surgery and also troubleshooting of any unforeseen as well as anticipated problems. Dr Rashmi Shingade conducted the proceedings. Dr Saurabh Barde, Secretary of ISA – NCB proposed vote of thanks. Dr Charuta Gadkari, President of ISA – NCB and her team’s efforts made the program highly successful.
