Under the dynamic leadership of Dr. Deepak Madankar, President, ISANCB 2026–27, and Team ISANCB, the first academic meeting of the newly formed Nagpur Regional Anaesthesia Club (NRAC) was successfully conducted on 30 October 2026 at Nelson Hospital, Nagpur.

The inaugural meeting focused on the topic “Blocks Above Clavicle”, bringing together anaesthesia professionals for an engaging academic session dedicated to the latest techniques and advancements in regional anaesthesia.

Academic Highlights

The academic session began with a live ultrasound demonstration and block procedure above the clavicle by Dr. Bhuvaneswari B, providing participants with valuable practical insights.

This was followed by two informative presentations:

• Dr. Neelesh Mathankar – Troubleshooting in Blocks Above Clavicle
• Dr. Rasika Timane – Recent Advances in Blocks Above Clavicle

The session concluded with an interactive discussion, during which members shared their experiences and interesting clinical videos, making the meeting highly engaging and informative.

A Successful Academic Initiative

The meeting witnessed enthusiastic participation from more than 35 members and was highly appreciated by all attendees. The initiative marked an encouraging beginning for NRAC, providing a dedicated platform for knowledge sharing, clinical discussions, and academic collaboration in regional anaesthesia.
