Interesting Case Presentation Competition 2023
ISA NCB conducted the Late Smt. Vaishali Malegaonkar Interesting Case Presentation Competition on Thursday, 27 April 2023, at M. T. Paithankar Hall, IMA Nagpur, for its members. President Dr. Rashmi Shingade welcomed members to the academic presentations and discussions.
Around eight varied interesting cases were presented by members. The judges for the competition were Dr. A. V. Sangawar, Retd. Professor, GMC Nagpur, and Dr. S. K. Deshpande, renowned cardiac anaesthesiologist in Nagpur. There was a neck-to-neck competition for the awards.
Competition Winners
- 1st Prize: Dr. Ajeet Jyotipurkar, Asst. Professor, N K P Salve — for his case on VATS bullectomy and anaesthetic challenges
- 2nd Prize: Dr. Kirti Gujarkar — for her case on thoracic segmental spinal, “Beware of Speed Breakers”
The event was attended by Dr. Charuta Gadkari (VP, MSCISA, and inceptor of the event), Dr. Sheetal Dalal and Dr. Saurabh Barde (GC members, MSCISA), Dr. C. S. Cham (ex-President, West Zone ISA and ISSP), and Dr. Anjali Bhure.
