The Indian Society of Anaesthesiologists’ Nagpur City Branch organized a debate competition on 24 June 2012 at Hotel Legend Inn. Eight doctors participated: Dr. Vidula Kapre, Dr. Anjali Bhure, Dr. Vaishali Shelgaonkar, Dr. Archana Deshpande, Dr. Vikram Alsi, Dr. Umesh Ramtani, Dr. Pallavi Karia, and Dr. Manas Manohar.

The debate featured four topics: Regional Anaesthesia for Laparoscopic Surgery, Suxamethonium as an Intubation Agent, Preoperative Blood Pressure Optimization for Surgery, and Spinal Anaesthesia in Eclampsia. Senior anaesthesiologists Dr. Naresh Tirpude and Dr. Shubhangi Muley served as judges, with Dr. Sandeep Meshram moderating.

The event attracted numerous anaesthesiologists from Nagpur and was deemed a success, with President Dr. C. S. Cham and executive members coordinating the programme.
