The Indian Society of Anaesthesiologists, Nagpur City Branch, successfully organized a Best Paper Presentation Competition for postgraduate students on 8 November 2024, at M. T. Paithankar Hall, IMA House, North Ambazari Road, Nagpur, from 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM.

Thirteen postgraduate students from Government Medical College (GMC) and Indira Gandhi Government Medical College (IGGMC), Nagpur participated. Each presenter received seven minutes for their research presentation, followed by a two-minute question-and-answer session.

The event opened with a traditional lamp-lighting ceremony. Dr. Umesh Ramtani, ISA–NCB President, delivered the welcome address and outlined competition guidelines. The judging panel comprised Dr. Pratibha Deshmukh (Director, Anaesthesiology, DMMC) and Dr. Gajanan Chavan (Professor & Head, Department of Anaesthesia, AIIMS Nagpur).

Distinguished attendees included Dr. Chandrashekharan Cham (Governing Council Member, ISA National), Dr. Sheetal Dalal (GC, SAMS), and senior members Dr. S. K. Deshpande, Dr. Kiran Vyawhare, Dr. Anjali Kolhe, Dr. Sachin Makde, Dr. Gurbani, and Dr. Amrusha Raipure.

All participants received certificates. Dr. Roshani Manwani coordinated the event with technical support from Dr. Anant, and Hon. Secretary Dr. Anjali Modak Borkar delivered closing remarks before the National Anthem concluded proceedings.
