BCLS and COLS Training Program at Netrakshi Eye Care Hospital, Bhandara

June 5, 2026

ISA–NCB conducted a BCLS and COLS training program at Netrakshi Eye Care Hospital, Bhandara, extending its community life-support outreach beyond Nagpur city to the Bhandara district.

The training provided hospital staff, nursing personnel, and patients' relatives with practical skills in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) and the community-facing COLS (Community-Oriented Life Support) protocol, covering CPR techniques, choking management, and the Panchrakshak emergency-response framework.

Netrakshi Eye Care Hospital serves a large patient population in Bhandara. By conducting this training at the hospital itself, ISA–NCB ensured that the knowledge reached those who need it most — frontline staff and family members who are often the first to respond in a medical emergency.
