Vaishali Malegaonkar Memorial Interesting Case Presentation Competition
President Dr. B. M. Rajurkar welcomed all participants to the Vaishali Malegaonkar Memorial Interesting Case Presentation Competition, at which a total of nine cases were presented.
The judging panel consisted of Dr. Anil Jain, Dr. Naresh Tirpude, and Dr. Sandhya Manjrekar. Case presentations covered diverse clinical scenarios, ranging from the anaesthetic management of a neonate with Ehler Danlos Syndrome to an 85-year-old patient with a pacemaker.
Prize Winners
- 1st Prize: Dr. Neeta Deshpande — anaesthetic management of a four-day-old infant with oral teratoma
- 2nd Prize (Shared): Dr. Sumeet Jaiswal (anaesthesia management for hepatic resection) and Dr. Meghna Sarode (anaesthetic management of a child with oral papilloma)
Dr. Rashmi Shingade, Honorary Secretary, proposed the vote of thanks, and the programme concluded with the national anthem.
