The Indian Society of Anaesthesiologists’ Nagpur City Branch organized a Paper Presentation Competition for postgraduate anaesthesiology students in December 2013 — an annual December fixture for the branch.

Seven participants competed, representing two institutions. From NKPSIMS Nagpur: Dr. Nitin Chopde, Dr. Chanda Salame, Dr. Abhishek Kumar, and Dr. Surabhi Lande. From IGGMC Nagpur: Dr. Vishal Taur, Dr. Bhushan Ambare, and Dr. Jaideep Sonowal. The judging panel consisted of Dr. B. M. Rajurkar, Dr. Soma Cham, and Dr. Abhiruchi Patki.

All competitors presented original research work. Certificates were distributed by ISA–NCB President Dr. Charuta Gadkari. Dr. Saurabh Barde, Hon. Secretary, managed proceedings and delivered the vote of thanks, concluding with the national anthem.
