GMC Nagpur Wins Intercollegiate Anaesthesiology Quiz
The Indian Society of Anaesthesiologists’ Nagpur City Branch hosted a Dr. Malati Phadke-sponsored quiz competition on 24 August 2014. Dr. Narendra Tamhane, President of ISA Nagpur City Branch, opened the event and welcomed the participating teams.
Three postgraduate students from each of the region’s five medical colleges formed teams for the competition.
Results
- Winner: Govt Medical College, Nagpur — Dr. Shruti Khatkhedkar, Dr. Abhishek Singh, and Dr. Anshul Diwakar
- Runner-up: Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College, Sawangi — Dr. Harsimran Walia, Dr. Vaibhav Jain, and Dr. Tarun Yadav
Prize distribution took place under Dr. A. A. Ghosh’s supervision. Quiz masters were Dr. Gunjan Badwaik and Dr. Amrusha Raipure, with expert evaluators Dr. Anjali Sawargaonkar and Dr. Shubhada Deshmukh. Dr. Saurabh Barde delivered the vote of thanks before a substantial audience of students, educators, practitioners, and senior ISA NCB members.
