The Indian Society of Anaesthesiologists (ISA), Nagpur City Branch successfully organised the Dr. Malati Phadke Sponsored Intercollegiate Anaesthesiology Postgraduate Quiz Competition on 26 July 2026 at J. R. Shaw Auditorium, IMA House, Nagpur.

The event witnessed an enthusiastic response, with nine postgraduate teams representing various medical colleges, including AIIMS Nagpur, NKPSIMS, GMC Nagpur, IGGMC, GMC Chandrapur, Datta Meghe Medical College, and other institutions, showcasing their knowledge and clinical acumen in Anaesthesiology.

The Competition

The competition was conducted by the Quiz Masters, Dr. Deepak Ruparel and Dr. Shweta Bulle, who curated an engaging and academically enriching quiz comprising multiple innovative rounds. The event was judged by Dr. Kiran Vyawahare and Dr. Rashmi Shingade. After an exciting contest, AIIMS Nagpur emerged as the winner team, while NKPSIMS, Nagpur secured the position of First Runner-up.

Organisation

The programme was held under the leadership of Dr. Sachin Makade, President, ISA Nagpur City Branch, and Dr. Vrishali Panchalwar, Honorary Secretary. The event was efficiently coordinated with the dedicated efforts of the organising team. Special contributions included:
