Annual Day Celebrations
The Indian Society of Anaesthesiologists – Nagpur City Branch celebrated its Annual Day Programme and Dr. E. G. Tambe Memorial Annual Oration on Saturday, 8th August 2026 at Saga Hall, Hotel Regenta, Nagpur.
The grand celebration was graced by Chief Guest Dr. AL Meenakshi Sundaram, National President Elect, ISA & Director of Medical Education (Retd), Tamil Nadu. The event commenced with the traditional lighting of the Samai, followed by the welcome address by Dr. Sachin Makade, President, ISANCB.
The prestigious Dr. E. G. Tambe Memorial Annual Oration was delivered by Dr. AL Meenakshi Sundaram on the topic “Medico-legal cases: Do we really need to worry?”, under the chairpersons Dr. Anjali Bhure and Dr. Bhau Rajurkar.
Special honours were conferred during the programme: the Dr. A. A. Ghosh Memorial Cham’s Professional Excellence Award was presented to Dr. Akhilesh Sangawar, and the Smt. Kamalabai Deshpande Memorial Lifetime Achievement Award was bestowed upon Dr. Hemant Rahatekar.
