COLS Training Program

Indian Society of Anaesthesiologists – Nagpur City Branch conducted a Compression Only Life Support (COLS) activity at
Shalinitai Meghe Ayurvedic College.

The activity aimed at spreading awareness and practical knowledge of life-saving techniques among healthcare students and staff.

Training Details

• 100 Ayurvedic college technicians and students were trained in COLS
• Session included:
  • Presentation
  • Demonstration
  • Hands-on practice

The training was conducted by:

• Dr. Himanshu Marathe – ISA NCB Member
• Dr. Jayesh Hadiya – ISA NCB Member

Participants actively engaged in the practical session and learned essential emergency response skills.

Community Collaboration

The activity was organized by
Sewankur, a Non-Governmental Social Organization of Nagpur.

A COLS Chart was formally handed over to the institute to support continued awareness and reference.
